
-Make an all-purpose cleaner by mixing one part water, one part white vinegar, and a few drops of tea-tree oil in a pint-sized spray bottle.
-Take glass jars or plastic containers to restaurants to carry home your leftovers. Jars last forever and don't affect the taste of the food.
-When waiting for running water to heat up or cool down, catch the water in a bucket and use it to water plants — or even to flush the toilet!

-Leave grass clippings on the yard—they decompose and return nutrients to the soil
-Use rags for kitchen mishaps instead of paper towels. Rags can also be washed and reused.
