Sorry I've been MIA lately. We were at the end of a major project at work that required very long days and lots of pizza in exchange for free work. Between the long weekdays and the weekends chock full o' dissertation proposal, I don't have much time to write. To sum up the general sentiment of my department these past weeks, here's a greeting card that just says it all. "Sarcastic Wednesday". It's as though they recorded our conversations and made a card from it. My last day was Friday, so I'm not worried about being "dooced".

Hey Julianna! Sorry I'm such a crap correspondent these days! Friday was my last day. I start my new job on Monday. It's a virtual office set up, so I ALWAYS work from home. I'm coming over to read the blog in depth...I've stopped in once or twice, but when I read that you were trying to finish your thesis, it reminded me of what I should be doing this very moment!!! ;-)
It is always pizza they try to bribe you with!!!!!!!!! And I usually take the bait!
