I've always loved her stuff. I bought my mother a gorgeous pendant some years ago that had 'love' and ten synonyms for the word "love" written around the circle in Arabic. It was expensive by Egyptian silver standards, but she always created really beautiful items...with poetry or song lyrics (I've long since lost a bracelet that had an Um Khalthoum song lyric on it). I'm still searching for one more pendant that I'll post later. I think her stuff is about to become out of my range.

You still biting your nails....?? LOL
:D
Yes, I'm still biting my nails, Gautam!! Shudduppppppppppppp.
Where are you finding these things? The medallion that says..."mowdaten wa Rahma" is just amazing.....LOVE IT! I want some.....is all this from Cairo? Where am I living that I haven't seen this stuff?
oh, it's the medallion and then the matching ring....just noticed that now....
Safa, she's got 4 shops in Cairo: http://www.azzafahmy.com/
:Maadi (really in New Maadi), Dooki, Heliopolis and First Mall.
My experience w/ her is that not every shop carries the same thing, so if you have time (and patience), it's best to visit the different locations. Also, inventory changes so if you go back in a month, you might find lots of stuff! I've met women who were clearly wearing Azza Fahmy, but never met someone wearing exactly what I had.
There are some shops out there that are offering Azza Fahmy-type stuff, but I think it's the words and passages that she choose which seem to connect to people. Of course, not all her things are worded-just the ones I prefer!
