A Tribute to Gautam

I was browsing blogs recently, and since I have a strong tie to the UAE, I like to read some of them (A Pickle in Your Shawarma and Dubtown Lady are in my sidebar). Anyway, I stumbled upon the name of an Indian colleague of mine from my last contract in Dubai. His comment was on another blog, but I could tell it had to be him. Anyway, it was nice reading his blog. It revived some not-so-pleasant memories I had of our former employer. One things about that job: as crazy as it all was, we laughed A LOT. Before I left, Gautam gave me some lovely gifts, which included earrings and the little statue of Buddha you see in this post. The statue is meant to resemble a certain someone we knew (only in shape, not in spirit). Here's to you Gautam!!

The more I travel, arima, the smaller the world becomes. I can't tell you how many coincidences I've experienced. Must have found his blog for a reason!!

Hey, Thank you so much S. I believe everything happens for a reason. I am really glad we met once again. Thanks for the post I feel really honored and motivated to write about things that I always kept to myself. Maybe I should let it out now. Well, Wishing you a Happy New Year! Love and regards to both you and hubby.

P.S. You two look really cute together.

Cheers!

Gautam
