I'm inclined to say the woman in the background is actually a prostitute. Anyone recognise this location?

That is too funny to me, they tell their wives to cover up, but don't mind being around whore-ish women :D

Well, I think there are loads of guys in the UAE who think that women shouldn't be dressing like that. I saw women in sleeveless tops (often tourists)in the malls, but what the woman in this photo is wearing? Almost nothing so short off the beach, with the exception of the prostitutes.

Ya you're right, she is wearing fabric, not clothes, FABRIC. Hey I have an answer to how you prevent terrorism, I'm writing a piece on it, in my blog. so check it out. P.S. You must check your blogs very quickly. lol.

I'll check it out now-ya, I get emails every time someone comments, otherwise, I would forget to check altogether!

I agree with you.. she looks like a prositute not an ex-pat. She also looks like an American prostitute, so i guess it's kinda a world-wide prostitution dress-code?

Reminds me of the Russian prostitutes or 'dancers' here in Seoul.

Quite possible that she is Russian, or some Eastern European nationality. They make a large percentage of the prostitutes in the UAE.

I was going to say UAE as well. Eastern European is the "in" thing over there, plus I noticed the kuffiyas done up in an Omani fashion, which would fit the bill as well.

That's definitely the UAE. I was wondering what location in Dubai/Abu Dhabi we were looking at.

Gotta disagree with you, to a degree, suroor. I've seen some skanky clothes in dubai-particularly in the clubs and not limited to prostitutes. I've also seen some tacky expat moms, but based on the style of the clothes, the length of the skirt, and her features, I would assume she's probably eastern European, and whether she's an unenlightened visitor or not, I guess we'll never know. Which mall in Jumeirah? Beach Centre? Mercato?
