1. What kind of soap is in your bathtub right now? Good ole Ivory and some antibacterial soap for my newly removed ingrown toenatils. Aren't you glad you asked?

2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator? Nope-out of season.

3. What would you change about your living room? It would be bigger, have more windows, a better heating element, the color of walls, the furniture...pretty much everything.

4. Are the dishes in your dishwasher clean or dirty? Dirty, but there are only a few.

5. What is in your fridge? Leftover soups and stews (lentil barley and vegetable turkey), corn tortillas, soy milk, regular milk, lots of carrots, cabbage, a ton of condiments we never use...probably some mold if you start lifting lids.

6. White or wheat bread? Wheat for me usually, thoug right not there's only potato bread and regular white bread for hubby.

7. What is on top of your refrigerator? A salad spinner, plastic wrap, sandwich bags, and some unfinished loaves of bread.

8. What color or design is on your shower curtain? Vertical strips: lavender and different shades of soft greens.

9. How many plants are in your home? 2 on the balcony that have managed to survive my black thumb.

11. Comet or Soft Scrub? Neither-Bon Ami is much more environmentally friendly than those products.

12. Is your closet organized? That's all relative. For me, they're organised. Bottoms on one side and tops on the other. I haven't separated one season from another.

13. Can you describe your flashlight? No, I can't, but we do have one. After the windstorm last December took out power for people all over the W. Washington area (some for several weeks), we learned to be a bit more prepared.

14. Do you drink out of glass or plastic most of the time at home? Plastic, because those cups hold more water.

15. Do you have iced tea made in a pitcher right now? Nope. Too cold for iced tea.

16. If you have a garage, is it cluttered? We have a shared parking garage w/ the other tenants, so no.

17. Curtains or blinds? Blinds-rental unit and all.

18. How many pillows do you sleep with? Between 2 and 3. Sometimes I put one under my knees.

19. Do you sleep with any lights on at night? If hubby is working, I leave the kitchen light on. Otherwise we're in total darkness.

20. How often do you vacuum? Once or twice/week. As the mood moves me.

21. Standard toothbrush or electric? Standard, though I hear the sonic brushes really do a better job.

22. What color is your toothbrush? White and dark blue

23. Do you have a welcome mat on your front porch? No porch and no welcome mat. And we mean it.

24. What is in your oven right now? Nothing in it.

25. Is there anything under your bed? Face towels in a pull out drawer.

26. Chore you hate doing the most? General organising and tidying up

27. What retro items are in your home? Hmmm.....I don't think anything is retro. We had an old electric mixer, but that kicked it a few months back.

28. Do you have a separate room that you use as an office? Yes, the 2nd bedroom.

29. How many mirrors are in your home? One in the bathroom.

30. Do you have any hidden emergency money around your home? No.

31. What color are your walls? Eggshell white-the choice of property managers all over the US.

32. Do you keep any kind of protection weapons in your home? My cat. She's a force with which to be reckoned.

33. What does your home smell like right now? Shampoo and soap-hubby is just out of the shower.

34. Favorite candle scent? I generally don't like candle scents, but I've smelled some that are just like a pie in the oven.

35. What kind of pickles (if any) are in your refrigerator right now? Homemade dills from my sister.

36. Ever been on your roof? No

37. Do you own a stereo? No. We have a satellite radio system.

38. How many TVs do you have? One.

39. How many house phones? Two.

40. Do you have a housekeeper? Yeah. You're talking to her. I think we need to fire her, though. She's crap when it comes to keeping a tidy house.

41. What style do you decorate in? I don't have a style. I do tend to use wall hangings and other items picked up from my travels.

42. Do you like solid colors in furniture or prints? Textured solids

43. Is there a smoke detector in your home? Yes.

44. In case of fire, what are the items in your house which you'd grab if you only could make one quick trip? My cat and my purse (which includes our rental insurance information).
