Wife of the year award?

I cooked beef kofta, kebab, stuffed grape leaves (can you say "labour intensive"?), and a slew of other faves when we hosted iftar at our our place.

Looks good to me! But is this like the guy that vacuums the floor once and thinks he should get an award because he does 'all' the cleaning? Ha!!

Looks yummy. Did you make the kofta yourself?

Thanks, Vagabond. I did make it myself. It's actually quite easy!

I think recipes are due on our diet blog don't you think?

Rumors have it that we will be having shami grape leaves for iftar today at our host. Let's pray that the rumor is true.

assalamu aleikum wa rahamtulahi wa barakatuhu,

Could be cook of the year. Yummy. (not all wives need to cook in order to be good wives, I'm "feminist like that"-hee hee).

Looks yummy, masha'Allah.
