Amr Diab Lely Nahary

Until I get access to the latest videos...a bit of eye candy. BTW, the dude is MUCH shorted in person and has a serious bald spot.

I'm going to pretend I did NOT read what you just wrote. I have this ongoing joke w/my husband about how I think A.D. is the ultimate hottie. Please tell me he isn't a major shortie and doesn't sport a shiny spot in the top of his head....ugh!

LOL...Sorry, Anon! Though he seeems to have had lots o' plastic surgery, so maybe that included 'hair plugs'? It's on his crown-the bald spot. Now all he needs are some lifts for his shoes and voila!

Well... some of us have nothing against short men. :-) As long as they are over 5'5" or so. I also have always liked buck teeth... but I think Amr should be thinking of using a retainer at night. Oh we are so cruel and picky!!

BTW... I don't like his look at all in the one video above - with short hair or that stupid knit hat - a fashion that makes anyone look like a moron... almost as bad as baseball hats. (90% of men wear them these hats to cover baldness... and merely make themselves look much worse...

JMHO..... VS

You are kidding!!!! short and balding. No way girl! I am crushed!

I never knew he before, but looking at his older album covers, he really looks a lot different. How old is he for real?

I agree that he looks stupid with that hair cut, but I don't like that cut on anybody myself. I prefer longer hair.

It's true, Tam. I think he's had a good bit of surgery. I saw him in a bar (ahem) in El Gouna. He was dancing to his own song when he hit on my friend.

Interesting how entertainers are often small men. I'm the oldster here... ahem... but when I was in high school the big heart-throbs for us were Bobby Vinton, Gene Pitney, Bobby Vee, Neil Sedaka... and the whole gang of them were all short shrimpy guys who mostly went bald.

They couldn't get the girls by being athletic, so they learned to sing and dance... and it certainly worked for them!! :-)

In 1961 Amr Diab is born in Port Said, Egypt on October 11th (Wednesday 1 Jumaada al-awal 1381 A.H.) ne Amr Abd-Albaset Abd-Alaziz Diab. His father, Abdul Basset Diab, worked for the Suez Canal Corporation as Chairman of Marine Construction & Shipbuilding. Abdul himself had a fine singing voice and is credited for encouraging his son to sing.

hahahahahaahah CG---I used to like him a whole lot more than I do know--but sometimes he acts "ghillas" and "damu ta'eel". My favorite is Mohamed Fouad---he seems so much more genuine. And he's not only a great singer, he's a great actor as well. In fact I think I'll post a MF song on my blog. Or maybe run a contest--hahahah!
