What Kind of American Accent Do You Have?

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Funny...
It says I have a North Central accent and that "Outsiders probably mistake you for a Canadian a lot."
lol
I might be mistaken for a Canadian, eh?
(Kinda funny, being that I am one)

Ahhh it won't let me paste it! but it lists me as 99% "the west" and says that unless I am a SoCal surfer, probably no one realizes I have an accent. Which is no surprise since I am from SoCal/Las Vegas. What cracks me up though is how people learn I am in graduate school in AR and then somehow "attach" a southern accent to me. But if you have ever dxealt with one, you'd realize I don't have one :) It takes about 3 seconds for a southerner to ask me "where are you from?!" because I am obviously not from the south!
